Barca's sporting director Robert Fernandez has been
discussing the Chilean stopper's future amid reports linking him with a
move to the Etihad
Barcelona have conceded that Claudio Bravo is likely to leave the club before the end of the transfer window.
The
goalkeeper, who saved a penalty in the club's 3-0 win over Sevilla on
Wednesday night, is set to join ex-Barca chief Pep Guardiola at
Manchester City.
Bravo was handed a rapturous reception by the
Camp Nou before the game and after denying Vicente Iborra's first-half
spot-kick, before leaving the field in tears at the end of the night.
Barca are hoping to bring in Valencia keeper Diego Alves to replace Bravo as one of the three senior goalkeepers in their squad.
However
that deal is unlikely to happen before the end of the week, leading
Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez to rule out a move for
Chilean stopper Bravo before Saturday's league clash with Real Betis.
