Police in Bugembe Town Council have arrested a traditional healer for allegedly having carnal knowledge with women seeking treatment under the guise of administering drugs.
Andrew Frank Mugenza, a resident of Bugembe Town Council was arrested after several complaints raised by women in the area that when they seek treatment, he tells them to undress so that he administers drugs through sex.
“The suspect has also been extorting money from women for drugs which do not cure them,” said Irene Kakai, the Bugembe Police CID.
She said that the suspect will be charged with impersonation and obtaining money through false pretense.
