The events come a day after her husband was arrested by police, and has reportedly been transferred to the Nalufeenya holding facility on the banks of the Nile.
The Police Professional Standards Unit has also slapped new cases on the former Buyende District Police Commander Muhammed Kirumira.
The charges which stem from Kirumira's recent utterances in the media lambasting the police leadship, include irregular conduct and disobedience of lawful orders.
