University of Bristol Chevening Scholarships for International Students in UK, 2017


The University of Bristol is inviting application for Chevening Scholarships which is funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. The programme makes awards to outstanding scholars with leadership potential from around the world to study postgraduate courses at universities in the UK.

The University of Bristol is a red brick research university located in Bristol, United Kingdom. It received its royal charter in 1909, and its predecessor institution, University College, Bristol, had been in existence since 1876.
Applicants must have an undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry to a postgraduate programme at a UK university. This is typically equivalent to an upper second-class 2:1 honours degree in the UK.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing the postgraduate programme.
Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded to study the subjects offered by the university.

College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have an undergraduate degree that will enable you to gain entry to a postgraduate programme at a UK university. This is typically equivalent to an upper second-class 2:1 honours degree in the UK.
Test Requirement: No
English Language Requirement Chevening accepts English language tests from five providers:
  • Academic IELTS
  • Pearson PTE Academic
  • TOEFL Ibt
  • Cambridge English: Advanced (CEA)
  • Trinity ISE II (B2)
